I challenged myself by joining the geriatric team at the Ulster Hospital. I thrived as part of a multidisciplinary team that was under immense time pressure every day.

I become an expert in making complex information accessible by working first hand with elderly patients who had visual, auditory, speech and cognition impairments due to ill health.

I found purpose in using my skills to connect with people. So I decided to work with neurodivergent teenagers. Within 12 months, a student under my care increased their curriculum engagement by an incredible 36%.

But something was missing... I was born with a natural talent in fine art and I really needed a career that brought science, people and creativity together as one.

Finally, I found the answer in the most unlikely place. I met guy, went on a date and then one day he said to me, “Hey have you ever heard of UX Design? I think you would be really good at it!” ...the rest is history!
