About Me

A design obsessed former healthcare professional, educator and content creator.

A designer shaped by people, pressure & purpose

Hi! I’m Louise, a product designer with a background in healthcare, education and content creation. I bring deep empathy, trust and accessibility into every experience I design.

I come from an unconventional path. Through out my career I have spent time working in high-pressure geriatric wards, special education classrooms and building a 40k strong social media platform in health education. Across every chapter, one theme stayed constant. Using data, creativity and feedback to understand problems, connect with people and develop impactful solutions.

As a designer, I thrive in cross-functional teams and love simplifying messy problems into meaningful solutions. I recently led a global hackathon team to a winning product, and I’m now focused on designing experiences that improve understanding, accessibility and human connection.

Natural Talent

With a background in fine art, I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity, science, and human empathy — design became the bridge that connected them all.

Leadership

Led a busy pharmacy team through process improvements that enhanced patient safety and reduced conflict, driving a 3% growth in business performance each year.

Teamwork

Thrived on a fast-paced geriatric ward as part of a multidisciplinary team, learning to collaborate under pressure and solve problems quickly for vulnerable patients.

Accessibility

Transformed complex medical information into clear, accessible communication for elderly patients with visual, auditory, and cognitive impairments.

Special Education

I found purpose in using my skills to connect with people. Within 12 months, a student under my care increased their curriculum engagement by an incredible 36%.

Leap of Faith

Finally, I found the answer in the most unlikely place. I went on a date and he said to me, “Hey have you ever heard of UX Design?" …and the rest is history!
